Here are some helpful tips to make sure your time at Charleston International Airport is smooth sailing:

Address 

•  5500 International Blvd; North Charleston, SC 29418 

Departure 

• We suggest arriving 2 hours before your scheduled departure time. 
• Our ticket counter opens 2 hours before departure. Airport Team Members are available during this time to check bags and support Guests' questions. 
• Our ticket counter is located to the right of the Central Hall, by JetBlue. 
• Checked bags must be checked in no later than 45 minutes before departure. This is when our ticket counter closes. 
• If you don't have any bags to check, head straight to the security checkpoint. 
• Our gate is located in Concourse A. Please check the airport displays for additional information. 
• Your gate number can be found on your boarding pass and airport displays. Generally, we'll be using Gate 2. 
• Be at the gate ready to board no later than 30 minutes before departure. 

Arrival 

• If you've checked bags, follow airport signs to the bag claim area, which is on the left side of the Central Hall. 
• Please check the display board for bag claim carousel details. 

Transportation 

• Covered short- and long-term parking options are available in garages within walking distance of the terminal. 
• Surface economy and overflow parking are also available with a shuttle service that runs every 5 minutes. 
• Rental car counters are located in the airport past baggage claim at the end of the terminal. 
• Hotel shuttles, taxis, and rideshare are available along with bus connections via CARTA outside of baggage claim.
