Here are a few helpful tips to make sure your time at Hartford Bradley International Airport is smooth sailing: 

Address 

• Schoephoester Rd; Windsor Locks, CT 06096 

Departure 

• We suggest arriving 2 hours before your scheduled departure time. 
• Enter the airport on the Departures level of Terminal A through doors 2 or 3. 
• Our ticket counter is located on Level 2 (Departures level), by Delta and Sun Country. 
• Our ticket counter opens 2 hours before departure. Airport Team Members are available during this time to check bags and support Guests' questions.
• Checked bags must be checked in no later than 45 minutes before departure. This is when our ticket counter closes.
• If you don't have any bags to check, head straight to TSA security screening.
• Your gate number can be found on your boarding pass and airport displays. Generally, we'll be using Gate 22.
• Be at the gate ready to board no later than 30 minutes before departure. 

Terminal A offers two TSA checkpoints: 

• Security checkpoint 1 is located past entry door 3. This checkpoint provides standard passenger screening and CLEAR expedited clearance. 
• Security checkpoint 2 is located past entry door 6, next to the United Airlines ticket counter. This checkpoint provides screening for TSA PreCheck® members only, with or without CLEAR. It's open daily from 3:15 am to 7:15 pm. After 7:15 pm, TSA PreCheck® members will be screened via a blended lane at the main security checkpoint and will still benefit from a TSA PreCheck level screening. 
• CLEAR verification is available at both security checkpoints. You can use CLEAR at security checkpoint #2 only if you're also enrolled in TSA PreCheck. 

Arrival 

• If you've checked bags, follow airport signs to the bag claim area on the Arrivals level. 
• Please check the display board for bag claim carousel details. 

Transportation 

• Garage parking is available within walking distance of the terminal. Uncovered lots are also available with shuttle service. 
• Rental car desks are located in the Ground Transportation Center across from Terminal A. 
• Bus service via CTtransit with connection to Metro-North rail lines, along with taxi and rideshare service, is available outside Terminal A’s arrivals level.
