Here are a few helpful tips to make sure your time at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport is smooth sailing: 

Address 

• 1 Terminal Dr; Kenner, LA 70062 

Departure 

• We suggest arriving 2 hours before your scheduled departure time. 
• Our ticket counter opens 2 hours before departure. Airport Team Members are available during this time to check bags and support Guests' questions. 
• Our ticket counter is on Level 3 of the Main Terminal. We're between Delta and Frontier. 
• Checked bags must be checked in no later than 45 minutes before departure. This is when our ticket counter closes. 
• If you don't have any bags to check, head straight to the security checkpoint on the second floor. 
• Your gate number can be found on your boarding pass and airport displays. Generally, we'll be using Gate 1 in Terminal A. 
• Be at the gate ready to board no later than 30 minutes before departure. 
• You'll be using a jetbridge to board the plane. 

Arrival 

• If you've checked bags, follow airport signs to the bag claim on Level 1. 
• Please check the display board for bag claim carousel details. 

Transportation 

• Short- and long-term garage and uncovered parking options are available within walking distance of the terminal. Economy garage parking is also available with shuttle service. 
• The rental car center is accessible via shuttle in front of the long-term parking garage across from Level 1 baggage claim. 
• Taxis, rideshare, hotel shuttles, and bus services via JET and RTA are available outside the terminal from Level 1 Baggage Claim.
