Here are some helpful tips to make sure your time at Newark Liberty International Airport is smooth sailing: 

Address 

• 3 Brewster Rd; Newark, NJ 07114 

Departures 

• We suggest arriving 2 hours before your scheduled departure time. 
• Our ticket counter opens 2 hours before departure. Airport Team Members are available during this time to check bags and support Guests' questions. 
• Our ticket counter is on Level 2 of Terminal B. 
• Checked bags must be checked in no later than 45 minutes before departure. This is when our ticket counter closes. 
• If you don't have any bags to check, head downstairs to the security checkpoint on the Departures Level. 
• Your gate number can be found on your boarding pass and airport displays. Generally, we'll be using Gate 44. 
• Be at the gate ready to board no later than 30 minutes before departure. 
• You’ll be using a jetbridge to board the plane. 

Arrivals 

• If you've checked bags, follow airport signs to the bag claim area on Level 1. 
• Please check the display board for bag claim carousel details. 

Transportation 

• Short-term garage and uncovered parking options are available within walking distance of the terminal. Long-term uncovered parking is also available with shuttle service. 
• The rental car center is located across the pedestrian bridge from Terminal A. 
• Taxis, rideshare, and hotel shuttles are available outside the terminal. 
• Bus service via NJ Transit is available outside AirTrain Newark Station P4. Express Bus picks up outside each terminal on Level 1. 
• Connection to NJ Transit and Amtrak train services is available via AirTrain Newark. Ride the AirTrain to the final stop outside the airport for connections.
