Departure

• We suggest arriving 2 hours before your scheduled departure time.
• Our check-in counter is in Terminal A on the Departures level. 
• Our check-in counter opens 2 hours before departure time to check bags and support Guests' questions.
• Checked bags must be checked in no later than 45 minutes before departure. This is when our counter closes.
• If you don't have any bags to check, head straight to the security checkpoint.
• Your gate number can be found on your boarding pass and airport displays. Generally, we'll be using Gate A6.
• Be at the gate ready to board no later than 30 minutes before departure.
• You'll be using a jet bridge to board the plane.

Arrival

• If you've checked bags, follow airport signs to the bag claim on the Arrivals level.
• Please check the display board for bag claim carousel details.

Transportation

• Parking options include short- and long-term garages, as well as uncovered economy lots. Prices range from $10-$33 per day.
• Rental car counters are located in the lobby of the Consolidated Car Rental Facility. Take the elevator or escalator to the Mezzanine Level in Terminal B and cross over the Sky Bridge.
• Approved rideshare services and taxis are available on the outer commercial curbside on the lower level of Terminal A.
• Hotel shuttles are located outside the SAT’s baggage claim area for your convenience. Please contact your hotel to see if they offer courtesy shuttle service.
• Public transportation is offered through VIA Metropolitan Transit. Go to the Lower Roadway (Arrivals/Baggage Level in Terminal A and B) and cross the marked crosswalk to the outer curb. VIA’s bus stop will be located on the far West end of Terminal B, clearly marked on the column.
