Here are a few helpful tips to make sure your time at San Francisco International Airport is smooth sailing: 

Address 

• 780 N McDonnell Rd; San Francisco, CA 94128 

Departure 

• We suggest arriving 2 hours before your scheduled departure time. 
• Enter the airport at Terminal 2, Door 1. 
• Our ticket counter is located on Level 2, by Alaska Airlines. 
• Our ticket counter opens 2 hours before departure. Airport Team Members are available during this time to check bags and support Guests' questions. 
• Checked bags must be checked in no later than 45 minutes before departure. This is when our ticket counter closes. 
• If you don’t have any bags to check, head straight to D Security Check Point. 
• Your gate number can be found on your boarding pass and airport displays. Generally, we'll be using D11 on Level 2. 
• Be at the gate ready to board no later than 30 minutes before departure. 
• You'll be using a jetbridge to board the plane. 

Arrival 

• If you've checked bags, follow airport signs to the bag claim on Level 1. 
• Please check the display board for bag claim carousel details. 
• The AirTrain Terminal Station is located on Level 4. 

Transportation 

• Short- and long-term garage parking options are available and are connected to the terminal via AirTrain. 
• The Rental Car Center is accessible via the AirTrain Blue Line. 
• Hotel shuttles pick up from the Departures/Ticketing Level of all terminals. 
• Rideshare is available from Level 5 of the Domestic Garage. 
• Train service via BART is available from the Departures/Ticketing Level of the International Terminal. Bus service via SamTrans is available outside each terminal.
