Planning a Flight From Scranton, PA to Rochester, NY? We've Got You.

Discover Rochester, a hidden gem tucked into the northwestern corner of New York. Surrounded by rolling hills, green farmland, forests, and lakes, you’ll find plenty of opportunities to get outdoors. The town is only an hour and a half from one of the nation’s most stunning natural features, Niagra Falls. It’s also right along the shore of Lake Ontario.

Start your day by visiting Ontario Beach Park just north of Rochester. Lounge on the sandy shore and cool off in the shallow water. Walk all the way to the end of the Charlotte Pier to see the light beacon and watch sailboats cruise along the harbor. You can hire a fishing charter to explore more of the lake and make your own fresh catch of trout, salmon, and largemouth bass. You’ll also find plenty of opportunities for recreation at the nearby green spaces, golf courses, and baseball diamonds. Make sure to check out the white-brick Charlotte Genesee Lighthouse with its historic cottage.

Head back into town for an afternoon spent in the area’s many museums. Pay a visit to Susan B. Anthony’s home to learn about her leadership in advocating for minority and women’s rights and her famous arrest for voting in the 1872 presidential election. You can also visit her final resting place amongst the grounds of Mount Hope Cemetery. Another unique place to visit is The Strong National Museum of Play, where you can channel your inner child and learn about the history of various toys. Also stop at the estate of George Eastman, the world’s oldest photography museum.

Finish out the evening by grabbing a bite to eat downtown. Catch a ballgame at Innovative Field, home of the Rochester Red Wings. If you’re feeling artsy, you can watch an indie film or see a local gallery display at The Little Theatre.

Don’t sleep on this quiet town in scenic Upstate New York. Book your flight to Rochester with Breeze today.
